COVID-19 Sends People Bush

Formerly the sprawling country estate of Robert Homes a Court, Hidden Valley is home to larger lot sizes with beautiful classical style houses in a naturally spectacular setting.

Lead a lifestyle of relaxation and luxury at Hidden Valley with plenty of things to do and see. Meet up with a friend for a round of golf on the magnificent 18 hole championship golf course, take a relaxing walk via the kilometres of walking trails throughout Hidden Valley, or go on a bike ride with the family. You can even go for a horse ride with Hidden Valley’s Equestrian Centre located within the estate itself.

Living at Hidden Valley, you can also enjoy the convenient travelling options at your doorstep. With easy access to the Hume Highway as well as the newly upgraded Wallan train station, your commute to work has never been easier.

However, with COVID-19 changing the way businesses operate, the daily commute to Melbourne’s CBD may no longer be necessary.

A recent purchaser at Hidden Valley, an IT specialist, sited Hidden Valley’s location as a major factor when it came to purchasing.

“When my work closed our Melbourne office for good and told us all to work from home, it seemed like a no brainer to move out of the city – more land and so much for my dollar.”

Time for a tree change?

Some take a sea change, but many prefer to go bush – and Hidden Valley has become one of those destinations – but with over 2,500 residents it’s not so hidden anymore.

Formerly the sprawling country estate of Robert Homes a Court, Hidden Valley boasts rolling green hills and stunning views.

Located just 55 minutes from Melbourne’s CBD, 35 minutes to the airport and 5 minutes to the local train station… it’s country living with city style.

Set on acres of rolling hills and picturesque countryside, Hidden Valley has it’s own lakes, walking trails and equestrian centre. And the Hidden Valley Resort includes the championship 18 hole golf course, bar and bistro, fully equipped gym, an indoor heated pool, tennis and bowls. You really never need to leave Hidden Valley.

Your local shopping is Wallan – 5 minutes drive – with Wellington Square Shopping Centre (Woolworths), a ripper Pub and even a Bunnings in nearby Craigieburn.

And Education, Wallan has both primary and secondary schools and private schools are available in nearby Kilmore (St Patricks, Assumption College).

At Hidden Valley, you can build your own dream home on an allotment to suit your needs. These are not suburban blocks – these are country lots – 682m2 to 1934m2 – and a good selection if you’re looking for larger.

Blocks start at $377,000

Why live on a golf course?

The interesting thing about those who live on a golf course is only 25% actually play golf – and that’s a worldwide figure.

And the reason is simple – Golf courses create wonderful vistas and the feeling of space. They are good to take a walk on after work, with or without golf clubs – go for a run, walk the dog and so much more.

Hidden Valley, Wallan is no exception to the rule. Julie, one of the 2,500 residents says “I’ve never played and probably never will, but I just love looking at the beautiful green space, the golfers coming and going. It’s beautiful all year round.”

Julie also gets to enjoy all the other features of Hidden Valley, the lakes, the walking paths, and the Hidden Valley Resort.

The resort includes the championship 18 hole golf course, bar and bistro, a fully equipped gym, an indoor heated pool, tennis and bowls. You really never need to leave Hidden Valley.

Wallan a wonderful country town

Wallan is fast becoming a destination for tree-changers. With the amount of people moving to areas in and around Wallan, the beautiful “country town” has had to keep up.

Wallan is in fact the fastest growing town in the Northern Region – and now the biggest.

Located just 55 minutes from Melbourne’s CBD, 35 minutes to the airport and one minute to the local train station… it’s country living with city style.

Wallan Wallan (the original name) Post Office opened back in 1858 and beyond a railway station, not much happened until the mid-nineties.

That’s when the former Robert Holmes à Court estate, became Hidden Valley – a residential estate and resort.

The Wellington Square Shopping Centre opened in 2004 (Woolworths) and today the town has a myriad of shops, a ripper Pub and even a Bunnings (in nearby Craigieburn) – and of course the monthly “old style” market. And a little drive will uncover some of Victoria’s finest wineries.

Hidden Valley is one of the land estates that enjoys its proximity to Wallan with 2,500 residents already enjoying their own golf course, lakes and amenities, but having all that Wallan has to offer just 5 minutes away.

Hidden Valley has land available from $337,000 (682m2 to 1934m2) Contact Steven Rovolidis on 0411 736 314 for further information and availabilities.
